STS 0160 Surgical Procedures II
This course is designed to provide the student with knowledge of specialty and advanced surgical procedures. The main focus topics will be: handling drains and dressings; incisions, pouring and receiving medications and solutions; corrections of contaminations; handling, passing, disposing of sharps; labeling of medication; advanced care and handling of specimens.
