MDA118 Introduction to Post Production Editing

This course introduces students to vital constructive video making practices that are relevant to 21st century learning skills and the contemporary workplace. This fulfills a course requirement for students who wish to continue their studies in video and film production at 4 year colleges, as many of our students must repeat those classes when they transfer. This course also goes toward a leveling of production and content creators in the country, allowing our students an opportunity to be the authors of their own representation. It also figures largely in the shift to constructive practices as a vital imperative to teach our students media literacy. Fulfills open, liberal arts, and humanities electives.
