North Shore Community College has proudly served the residents of the North Shore since 1965, offering high-quality, affordable higher education through a wide range of academic and career-focused programs. NSCC is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).

For 60 years, NSCC has provided students with an impactful education that is affordable, accessible, and committed to an inclusive, safe and diverse student-centered environment. Our academic and workforce development offerings have since expanded from our original mission to include two-year associate degrees, one-year credit certificate programs, and innovative non-credit courses – in online, classroom or hybrid settings. NSCC is future focused, offering a broad range of pathways from Free Community College and Early College programs to Corporate Training Solutions and Apprenticeships. 

For students pursuing bachelor’s degrees, NSCC’s transfer programs provide affordable pathways to achieve their goal without incurring unnecessary student debt. NSCC offers generous financial aid and support, including advising, tutoring, career exploration, veterans' resources, accessibility services, opportunities for first-generation students, student life experiences and so much more.
