CFS105 Food Handler Safety Practices

This course covers the importance of food safety and sanitation throughout the flow of food through the cycles of preparation. Food management systems and guidelines related to personal hygiene, proper hand washing, facility maintenance, and integrated pest management are also included. Students will be prepared to take the Food Handler Certification examination given by the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation.
