Advising Notes

This certificate is intended to prepare a student upon completion for entry-level employment in the care, grooming, and community understanding of domestic animals.

For students interested in continuing their education in the animal care field; all courses in this certificate count towards the Animal Care Specialist Degree.

Taking classes in the winter intersession and summer can accelerate your time to degree completion.

If you intend to graduate with an associate degree in a year, you should enroll in at least 15 credits if taking only fall/spring courses.

All student degree audits for graduation purposes will be based off the official program of study the student is enrolled in.
