NSG140 Transition to the Role of the Registered Nurse

Prepares Licensed Practical Nurses to make the transitions from the role of the licensed Practical Nurse to the role of the Associate Degree Registered Nurse utilizing the framework from Maslow's Higher Needs Theory and the Nursing Process. Selected topics and skills are presented to provide a synthesis of prior learning with the philosophy and objectives of the Nurse Education curriculum.
