NSG105 Pharmacology and the Role of the Registered Nurse

This course builds on the basic principles of pharmacology from Foundations of Nursing (NSG101). The emphasis will be on the drug classification system, pharmacodynamics and therapeautic actions of drugs and the use of the nursing process for the safe and effective administration of medications.
