NURS 465 Leadership & Capstone Clinical
Leadership & Capstone Clinical (4 credits precepted clinical experience) students are immersed in a clinical setting demonstrating the role of the RN in preparation for transitioning to practice. This course focuses on the application of concepts that are central to nursing at a professional level and includes clinical learning activities that incorporate leadership behaviors and demonstrate each of the EPSLO’s. Students provide care for individuals and families in a selected setting. Using clinical judgment students focus on safe and effective care.
Prerequisite
NURS 426 Med Surg Concepts II and
NURS 415 Family Nursing Concepts.
