NURS 415 Family Nursing Concepts
Family Nursing Concepts (2 credits lecture) focuses on professional nursing care and childbearing and childrearing families. The course includes pregnancy/prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum care for developing families. Additionally, application of concepts to pediatric nursing is considered with inclusion of growth and development and health promotion. The concepts of clinical judgment and person/family centered care continue to be developed in depth.
