ENGL 236 Women's Literature

This course explores both literature written by women and how women are represented in literature.  Students will be introduced to diverse texts across a variety of time periods and cultures, from multiple gendered perspectives.  Students will then have the opportunity to analyze the literary, cultural, and socio-political patterns that surface in the readings and how gendered identities develop over time and space.
