EDUC 272 Educational Technology

The purpose of this course is to develop background knowledge and training for teacher education candidates in the use of educational technologies.  The course will focus on instructional methods using technologies to support student learning and achievement. Teacher candidates will learn to use technology as a tool for teaching to support student engagement and motivation. Teacher candidates will demonstrate developing proficiencies in the use of educational technologies to create interactive teaching and learning opportunities. This course uses the National Educational Technology Standards and INTASC principles to guide learning experiences.
