BIOL 350 Molecular Biology

Molecular biology involves the understanding of the interactions between the various molecules of a cell and their role in molecular processes in eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells. Topics include structure, function, and regulation of the genetic materials at the molecular level, gene organization, structures and functions of DNA, RNA, and proteins, gene transcription and expression, manipulations of genetic materials and DNA recombinant technology. Three hours of lecture per week. Pre-Req: BIOL 150, Co-Req: BIOL 350L. Fall.
