NUR 203B Introduction to Professional Practice

The final course in the lab series. Facilitates transition into professional practice through preceptored experiences. Allows students to provide care to patients and families under the supervision of a registered nurse Clinical Teaching Associate (CTA) with guidance from program faculty. Focuses on the role of the professional nurse while increasing their responsibility and accountability in practice as members of an interdisciplinary team. Provides a variety of placement options in the acute, sub-acute, and community settings primarily located in the Linn-Benton service district.
