Computer Information Systems Certificates
The CIS program's certificates are flexibly designed to provide exit points into the workforce or for sequential completion in pursuit of an A.A.S. degree. Certificates entail a diversity of skill-sets including thorough instruction of PC operating systems, integrated software applications, networking fundamentals and computer hardware, data security, basic programming logic, basic web page design, and utilization of Internet tools and functions.
The Computer Information Systems program offers five certificates:
Personal Computer Essentials Certificate (1 semester).
Personal Computer Applications Certificate (1 year).
Personal Computer Support Specialist Certificate (3 semesters).
Network and Data Security Certificate - (1 semester).
Network and Data Security Certificate - (1 year).
All certificates are stackable and lead towards completion of different specializations in the A.A.S. degree.
