CIS 110 Intro to Smart Devices
(Contact Hours: 3) This course introduces the student to the Internet of Things. Students will learn how the current digital transformation is creating economic opportunity in many career specializations. Students will use hands-on activities to configure smart devices and model securely connecting sensors to the cloud services over IP networks and collecting data in an Internet of Things system. Recommended prerequisite: BUS 103. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
