PHY 3130 MODERN ASTROPHYSICS
Astrophysics is the modern science of taking what has been learned about the universe from physics experiments and using it to explain what astronomers see in space. Students in this class will learn how we know about the nature of the stars, the age of the universe, the mystery of dark energy and the possibility of life on other planets. This course serves as a bridge between University Physics and upper-level physics classes.
