Course Outcomes

  1. 1. To study the basic rules of motion: how and why objects move
  2. 2. To study the idea of conservation (energy, momentum and angular momentum), and to understand how such ideas apply to analyzing physical situations
  3. 3. To apply the rules of motion to special systems of interest and to make a connection for some systems between microscopic properties and macroscopic observations
  4. 4. To gain confidence in experimental design, data analysis, and writing about physics
