Admission to this program requires an audition.
A Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in Dance Performance and Choreography requires the completion of the Elon Core Curriculum as well as the Major Requirements listed below.
Major Requirements:
Required courses: 32 sh
Select sixteen semester hours from the following courses: 16 sh
Student must take each level of technique class twice, 8 credit hours of Modern III-VI and 8 credit hours of Ballet III-VI
Select four semester hours from the following courses: 4 sh
Select four semester hours of Dance Ensemble: 4 sh
Select twelve semester hours of dance electives at the 3000-4000 level: 12 sh
Total Credit Hours: 68
