HIST 341 Colonial American Studies in the Greater Atlantic World, 1492-1763

Examination of the colonial American era in an Atlantic World environment, using an ethno-historical approach to assessing the origins and interactions of varying national and cultural groups (Native, European and African). The course examines how these groups affected the major events and environment of the American colonial period with an emphasis on North America.
