ASPP 5298 Final Comprehensive Examination

The Final Comprehensive Exam is offered in Spring and Fall each year and taken in the students’ final semester. It consists of two separate exams, one written and one oral. The written exam includes questions from all the core classes taken up until the students’ final semester. Upon passing the written exam, the student is then eligible to take the oral exam (usually 1-2 weeks later). The oral exam includes presenting a case conceptualization, teaching a mental skills technique and responding to an ethical vignette. Preparation for the final exam is given in a Professional Development Workshop in the same semester in which the student takes the exam. This is a Credit/No Credit course.
