ASPP 5302 Introduction to Executive Coaching
This course will enable a student to manage an executive coaching engagement. Students will understand the mindset required to coach an executive without experience of the clients’ situation or business. By being client focused the students will be able to build long-lasting and impactful relationships with their clients. The course will cover the fundamentals of executive coaching, the culture of working within this population, and will include some of the effective frameworks that are used by practitioners while also distinguishing the field of executive coaching from traditional sport and performance psychology. The course will cover the basics of building an executive coaching practice, including how to attract and retain clients. The students will be encouraged to think about their own framework and approach.
