PSY 3045 Psychology of Homicide
This entirely on-line course is an overview of some of the psychological theories of why people commit homicide. We will consider the role of various factors – developmental, genetic, neurological, social, cultural, etc. in acts of murder. We will review some of the research into what makes a murder and discuss the interaction of nature and nurture in creating killers. This course will be composed of a set of recorded lectures and films that the student can go through on their own pace.
