HIST 3728 Drugs and Drug Wars

This course examines the modern history of major narcotics found in the United States, drug cartels, drug trafficking, and drug wars found within the western hemisphere. A comparative element of how these products and issues are dealt with in different countries within the hemisphere and a consideration of these problems on present-day policy decisions will be included.
