HIST 3009 History through Biography

This course examines the life and times of selected historical figures in history. Through consideration of the social, political, and cultural issues of the era students assess the importance of the figure by evaluating the consequences of achievements and defeats of the historical figures under study. Readings draw upon primary and secondary sources.
