ENGL 3068 African American Narratives

Study of writings of African American twentieth and twenty-first-century literary and cinematic narratives. The course examines African American themes relating to historical, cultural, and societal issues in contemporary forms and genres, such as Afrofuturism, horror, superhero fiction, romantic comedies, fantasy, comedies and historical romance.
