ELEMENTARY STATISTICAL METHODS (3-0-3) Statistical description - frequency distributions, measures of location, variation; probability - basic rules, concepts of random variables and their distributions (including binomial and normal); statistical inference - confidence intervals, tests of hypotheses p-values, introduction to linear regression.
