MATH 1332. CONTEMPORARY MATHEMATICS I (3-0-3) A course in modern algebra and geometry providing a broad background in principles of mathematics. Topics may include sets, logic, number systems, number theory, functions, geometric concepts and an introduction to probability and statistics. This course does not satisfy the prerequisite for higher level mathematics courses and is not intended for mathematics, science, or engineering majors.
