SCI 397 Teaching Science in the Elementary School
Prepares candidates to teach meaningful science lessons to elementary school students. The course is designed to help preservice teachers learn to plan lessons that align with current state and national standards using research-based inquiry science pedagogies. Activities help learners connect science learning with other subject areas in the elementary curriculum.
This course is open for juniors and seniors in Elementary Education, Special Education and Early Childhood Education programs.
