SCI 396 Using Science Methods and Materials
Students will explore a variety of methods and practice with materials used in teaching secondary science. Students will plan lessons that align with national and state standards. They will integrate technology and safety practices in the classroom with a variety of text and technology resources as they practice the reflective teaching needed for a portfolio assessment during student teaching. The course is co-scheduled with a classroom practicum, and the course is aligned with that experience.
Prerequisite: SCI 395.
Co-requisite: EDSE 380.
Open only to students in the Teaching Major in Science.
