PLAN 218 Real Estate Development Lab

This second-year lab class teaches foundational planning skills in basic financial analysis of the feasibility of development projects. Students learn how to create imaginative and context sensitive plans for development in Plan 202. In the Plan 218 lab, students learn to analyze the costs and revenue of their proposed development projects.

PLAN 218 must be taken in the same semester as PLAN 202. Urban Planning majors only. Prerequisites: Passing grades in all CAP first year courses (CAP 101, CAP 102, CAP 161, PLAN 100, ARCH 100, and LA 100) OR passing grades in PLAN 105 and either PLAN 100 OR PLAN 120; an approved portfolio of work, and a GPA of 2.75 or greater.
