CT 112 Computer Applications for Design Solutions
This exciting introductory course will examine how to make socially responsible, innovative, and creative design decision(s) while often using computer applications such as Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to come up with innovative and creative design solution(s) to the social and behavioral needs of diverse humans from a variety of cultures and societies (fictitious stakeholder(s)) who are described in fictitious real-world scenarios pertaining to business problem(s). This will all be possible after developing a basic understanding of critical thinking, ethical decision making, the use of multiple sources of information and knowledge, effective decision-making strategies, the process of evaluating strengths and weaknesses of arguments and actions, and knowledge of business.
