Program Description: A student in this program will develop basic skills pertaining to the properties of water, and water operations related to distribution. The terminology and equipment used by the industry along with the mathematics and chemistry and biology applied to water treatment. Laboratory techniques and methods, regulations, licensing, and certification process are included.
Employment Opportunities: A rewarding career awaits with potential for advancement. Technicians are responsible for maintaining the operation of high-tech equipment, facilities, and involved in chemistry control, data, and record keeping all involved in the transport of quality water.
