THE 325 THEATERMAKING 3

An advanced course for actors, directors, and practitioners of any discipline of performance. Working in collaborative groups, students will rehearse and perform scenes from challenging contemporary plays; devise original material using techniques of collective creation; and adapt non-dramatic texts for performance. This intensive experiential studio course will strengthen students’ existing foundations in performance and explore new strategies for making theater. Theater designers will also benefit from this course.

Prerequisite

THE 206, THE 212, THE 225, THE 226, THE 243, or any approved study away program in theater.

Registration Restrictions

Open to junior or senior theater majors or minors, and to others with permission of instructor.

Enrollment Limit

Enrollment limited to 12 students.
