Employer Relations and Alumni Engagement

The Hale Center’s Employer Engagement team provides students with a variety of employer information sessions, recruiting opportunities, visits by graduate school representatives, and networking with alumni. Many employers specifically target Connecticut College and post both job and internship opportunities for our students. We also partner with other liberal arts colleges and universities to offer career-related information sessions.

Additionally, Employer Engagement hosts multiple events each semester, offering informational programs representing a wide range of career fields. The team continuously works to cultivate ongoing relationships with employers and potential internship sponsors to help students expand their understanding of how to put their liberal arts education into action.

The Hale Center works closely with the Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement to identify alumni who will participate in Camel Connected programming. Programs such as Career Launch, provide students a structured yet informal chance to network with alumni and parents during fall weekend; Career Conversations, connects alumni and students from all class years through one-on-one conversations; and a January Job Shadow program allows students to make on-site visits to alumni at their places of work.
