Course Numbering System
Courses numbered 0-0999 are preparatory courses and do not carry credit toward graduation. Courses numbered 1000 and above carry credit toward graduation. General education courses carrying a course number of 1100 and above (e.g., ENGL 1101) are taught in associate degree programs. The only exception is COLL 1090 which is calculated into overall GPA and is required in most diploma or degree level programs.
