RELS 3375 Catholicism Today
This upper-level course introduces students to the developments made by the Second Vatican Council and their further growth as the Catholic Church began to live into its self-understanding as a global Church. Differences in emphasis, theology, and practice around the world are described, arising from differences in history and culture, and students are asked to connect contemporary movements and controversies in the Catholic Church to this navigation of difference and unity.
