PMIN 3362 Gospel of Luke and Acts
This course is the study of the Gospel according to St. Luke and the Acts of the Apostles. Students will explore the history, literary style and theological vision of these writings. Emphasis will be placed on the hermeneutical issues, the formation of the text and the interrelation between these two books. Students will analyze how the historical-critical method has helped to contemporaneously interpret and understand the Greco-Roman antiquity in which the original texts were developed.
