PEHP 1101 Lifelong Physical Education for Athletes
This course delves into the enduring advantages and significance of physical activity for a lifetime extending beyond the collegiate athletic experience. Students will acquire a comprehensive understanding of the five health-related components of physical fitness, personalized exercise program development, and supplementary knowledge concerning recovery, nutrition, and injury prevention. Designed to complement the physical activities engaged in by UIW collegiate athletes as part of their NCAA sport participation, this course equips students with essential insights for maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle well beyond their college years.
