MUTH 4188 Music Therapy Service Center

Upper-class Music Therapy students, with their advisor's consent, work with individuals on a weekly basis. Music Therapy students function as a primary music therapist, with weekly supervision. Students are responsible for all paperwork required in the therapy. This course is an elective for Music Therapy majors in their junior or senior year. Students can take this course prior to the internship. This course requires one hour for the therapy session and one hour for supervision, which are arranged. The sessions take place in the Music Therapy services center.

Prerequisite

Requires students who take this course must have completed at least 2/3 of the music therapy degree courses with a grade of B or better. Instructor's permission is required.
