PHAR 5444 Pharmacotherapeutics VIII—Endocrine Disorders
This is the eighth of twelve courses that are sequenced to run consecutively for four semesters. Pharmacotherapeutics will cover pathophysiology, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and therapy of endocrine diseases including diabetes, dysthyroid, reproductive disorders and hormonal imbalances in a team-taught, multidisciplinary approach. The course will cover basic scientific principles and disease state management based on organ systems. The students will have the opportunity to learn, apply, and integrate knowledge from the four disciplines.
