ATHP 5233 Evaluation of the Upper Extremity, Cervicothoracic Spine, and Head
This course is an in-depth study and practice of techniques used in the assessment of injuries and conditions of the upper extremity, cervicothoracic spine, and head. Primary emphasis will be on the process and components of an injury evaluation and physical assessment techniques. Students will learn evidence-based orthopedic and neurological special tests for the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, cervicothoracic spine, and head. Information obtained from the evaluation process will be used to develop differential diagnoses, resolve the primary diagnosis, and direct appropriate interventions.

ATHP 5221: Clinical Practice in Athletic Training I
