CHED 2340 Introduction to Diversity and Inclusion Within Health
This course is designed to help students navigate and explore concepts related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) towards understanding the relationship between culture and health. Specifically, this course will offer students the opportunity to reflect and expand their knowledge related to identity, discrimination and bias, relationships across differences, and disparities within the current social structure. Additionally, students will compare and analyze strategies that can enhance inclusion and decrease health disparities across ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic status, and disabilities.
