BMGT 3340 Management Theory and Practice

This course is designed to introduce students to concepts in the field of management theory and practice. Students will be exposed to issues in an organizational environment and develop an understanding of theoretical and practical implications of managing and leading organizations and people. Some of the topics covered include the history of management, planning, organizing, leading, staffing, controlling, motivation, managing information, managing teams, business and managerial ethics, and decision-making.
