ARTS 4335 Documentary Photography IV: International Fieldwork
In this courses, students will study and create photographs within the context of straight/unmanipulated, documentary photography, working in the field in an international setting in the style of National Geographic and Time Magazine. Students will work under the strict supervision of one or more instructors who are familiar with the culture to document that culture with respect and in consideration of Catholic Social Teaching. Students will participate in an international residency for one to two weeks then spend the remainder of the semester editing their work for presentation. Five and one-have studio hours a week.
