OMED 8450 Fundamentals of Medical Spanish for Osteopathic Medical Students Elective Clerkship
This four-week experience is designed to provide experiential learning in medical Spanish. This elective introduces osteopathic medical students to the fundamentals of Spanish with an emphasis on Spanish medical terminology, sentence construction, appropriate use of regular and irregular verbs in present and past tense. This elective will focus on the communication required during a medical office visit through a culturally appropriate lens.
