HADM 6088 Health Administration Internship**
The formal Graduate Assistantship (GA) experience provides the student an opportunity to apply acquired academic knowledge, enhance skills and continue learning through the supervision of an experienced health care professional. The GA is a structured learning environment that allows the student to experience the roles and responsibilities of the health care administrator/manager while gaining an understanding of the organizational dynamics of a real-world health care organization. At the GA location, students will be expected to effectively integrate their efforts within the existing organizational setting. The GA is a required component of the health administration curriculum; however, no credit is awarded.
