DPT 7628 Professional Practice Education 2

Second (of three) in the Professional Practice Education sequence, this 12-week course is a full-time professional practice educational experience focused on development of accountability, self-assessment, and an understanding of professional competence. Under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, students will perform all elements of patient/client management across the lifespan in a variety of settings. This clinical experience will use their more advanced evaluative skills in initial program planning and treatment complex patient cases. By the end of the third year, we expect students to have the basic tools to begin entry-level practice, but still need experience and development in several areas.
