Completion Certificates

With the approval of the appropriate College or School Dean, paper completion certificates may be presented to participants who complete not-for-credit seminars, or continuing educational professional development, or in recognition of their earning credit hours in UIW courses offered in a particular field or fields, as defined by that College or School. The award of a paper completion certificate will not appear on a transcript, even when the certificate attests to earning credit hours for UIW courses. The College or School maintains the responsibility to record such participation.

Any for-credit courses taken to earn a paper completion certificate may be considered to fulfill the requirements of a degree program only if the student applies to, meets admission requirements of, and is accepted into the program.
