PSYC 3472 Learning, Memory and Cognition

This course examines the various theoretical models including classical conditioning, operant conditioning, and social/observational learning that contribute to relatively permanent changes in behavior in humans and non-humans. Laboratory work using current learning software provides hands-on demonstrations of the theories discussed in lecture and text. Learners will gain an understanding of the process of thinking, knowing, problem solving, and mentally processing information. Enrollment in this course is restricted to students in the Psychology BS program of the School of Professional Studies. Prerequisites: PSYC 1301, PSYC 2320, PSYC 3380
