NURS 2310 Integrated Health Science

Traditional. Focuses on the foundational pharmacological and pathophysiological concepts which relate to all areas of clinical nursing practice, including introduction to pharmacology, cellular dysfunditon, fluid and electrolyte/acid-base balance and inbalance, the immune response, immune system pharmacology, the stress response, autonomic nervous system pharmacology, neoplasia, and principles of antineoplastic therapy. Prerequisite: Admission to the nursing major. This course may be repeated for credit according to the School of Nursing and Health Professions policies.
